We took a 1940's bungalow style home in trendy East Atlanta from near death and brought it back to life. What was once an eyesore to the awesome neighbors of Brownwood/Ormewood Park is now something that they and the new owners love and brag about. This house had great bones that we salvaged but we also added our own touches. We preserved the bungalow look to blend in with the neighborhood. Once you walked through the craftsman-style front door you were blown away, from the shed dormer that allows in natural sunlight, to the original stone fireplace that goes all the way up to the vaulted ceiling, to the large custom kitchen, to the awesome keeping room that overlooks the covered cobblestone patio with an outdoor fireplace, to the master bath/bedroom with a lighted trey ceiling and its own access to the patio, to a massive shower with multiple heads. As far as security goes, it has top of the line security, wired for surveillance cameras, with a stereo system in the kitchen, master bedroom, and covered patio/uncovered patio, along with a surround sound system in the den. There is just so much to list. This house was a fun and satisfying challenge and is now making a great home for a terrific couple in the East Atlanta Village Area.
